Terms and conditions of sale
Integration Module
1. Scope
These general terms and conditions of sale govern registration, participation and payment for group and private courses offered by Fenêtre francophone : fide methodology courses, fide intensive courses and tailor-made courses. All registrations imply unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Types of courses
- Group courses :fide intensive and fide methodology (minimum 2 participants).
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will be postponed or the customer will be offered a private course. - Private lessonsintensive, methodology or tailor-made, no minimum number of participants required.
- Tailor-made courseone-off sessions or a package of 10 lessons.
3. Registration and confirmation
Registration is confirmed by sending a formal offer by e-mail, after the course details have been agreed with the client.
The dates and times of private lessons are set by mutual agreement, according to the respective availability of the client and Fenêtre francophone.
4. Payment
Group courses :full payment within 48 hours of confirmation (formal offer).
Private lessons and tailor-made lessons :full payment before the first lesson (single lesson : at least 24 hours before the session).
Access to the course (login link) and teaching materials is only activated after full payment has been received.
Full payment for the course is required before it starts ; otherwise, the registration can not be maintained.
Payment is made by TWINT or bank transfer. Payment details and the invoice are sent with the formal offer by e-mail.
5. Absences, postponements and packages
Group courses : no refunds after the course has started, except in cases of duly justified force majeure.
Private lessons any session may be postponed at no cost if the request is made by e-mail at least 24 hours in advance ; otherwise, the session is due, except in cases of duly justified force majeure.
Validity of private packages
- intensive courses (10, 14 or 16 hours) : 3 months.
- methodology course (2.5 hours) : 1 month.
- tailor-made course (10 hours) : 3 months.
Hours not used within the allotted time are permanently lost, except in cases of duly justified force majeure.
6. Force majeure
In the event of force majeure duly justified by an official document (illness, accident, unforeseeable event), Fenêtre francophone may offer, on a case-by-case basis, a postponement, a credit or a partial refund calculated in proportion to the hours not attended by the client, according to the terms agreed with them. In the event of a refund, a flat-rate administrative fee of CHF 40.- will be deducted from the amount refunded.
7. Technical responsibility
The client is responsible for the functioning of their computer equipment and Internet connection. If the course cannot be attended for these reasons, no refund is possible.
8. Cancellation or postponement of a course by Fenêtre francophone
If a course or part of a session (intensive, methodology) is cancelled for reasons attributable to Fenêtre Francophone, the client is entitled to either a pro-rata refund for the hours not taken or a postponement of the course, depending on their availability.
9. Teaching materials and intellectual property
Course materials («speaking and understanding», «reading and writing» and exercises) are provided in digital format for both online and face-to-face courses. Any reproduction or distribution to third parties is prohibited.
10. Data protection (Swiss Data Protection Act)
Personal data (name, e-mail and postal addresses, telephone number) is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, unless the customer wishes Fenêtre francophone to register them for the fide test.
11. Travel expenses in Valais
- Round trip distance :calculated from the head office in Aproz according to Google Maps (fastest route).
- Kilometre rate :: 0.74 CHF/km (carburant, usure, assurance inclus).
- Journey time :not charged.
- Additional costs (e.g. parking) : invoiced on presentation of receipts.
12. Non-guarantee of results clause
Fenêtre francophone is committed to providing high-quality support based on its linguistic and pedagogical expertise.
However, obtaining the Language Passport depends solely on the candidate's performance on the day of the test. Fenêtre francophone cannot be held responsible in the event of failure.
13. Acceptance
Participation in a course implies unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are deemed to have been read and accepted prior to registration.
14. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall be brought before the courts of the canton of Valais, based in Sion.
